Trip Lee’s ‘The Good Life’ Debuts at No.1

And the sales are in! Trip Lee‘s latest LP “The Good Life” snagged the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album chart and No. 18 on the Billboard Top 200 Chart. The LP moved a total of 21,738 units in first week sales! This is amazing, “The Good Life” made one of the biggest debuts in Christian Hop Hop since the release of Lecrae‘s “Rehab.” Congratulations to Trip Lee and Reach Records on a successful first week in sales.

Coming in at No. 2 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album chart is Marvin Sapp with his latest LP “I Win.” According to the Nielsen soundscan report the project moved 15,206 units last week. Congrats to Pastor Marvin Sapp on yet another successful week in sales. Coming in at No. 3 is J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise with their new release ”After This.” The new project is the sixth album from J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise via Light Records. Taking No. 4 spot is Wow Gospel 2012, and landing at No. 5 is Smokie Norful with “Once In A Lifetime.”
