NEW MUSIC PREMIERE: ANTHONY BROWN & GROUP TherAPy – ‘TESTIMONY’

7

Maestro Anthony Brown and his ensemble Group TherAPy is gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut album via Tyscot Records and as the set’s August 21st release date draws nearer, the lead single “Testimony” has surfaced.

The rousing, fun, and feel-good song is bolstered by tight production and a respectable vocal performance from Brown and TherAPy. The forthcoming album from Anthony Brown & TherAPy offers contemporary gospel; and praise & worship along with the same flawless vocals and melodies that we hear on “Testimony.”

Anthony Brown is no stranger to the music scene. Brown was responsible for penning Maurette Brown Clark’s No. 1 hit “It Ain’t Over.” He has proven his songwriting, production and vocal abilities on many past hits from Maurette Brown Clark, Donald Lawrence, VaShawn Mitchell, and Myron Butler. A music prodigy who began playing the piano at 3, he served as the vocal director and vocal producer for Brown-Clark’s live recording of “The Dream,” on which he wrote the popular song “Sovereign God,” and several other songs including “Don’t Be Discouraged,” “He Is Able,” and “Jesus Is Alive.”  Brown also lent his talents to praise and worship leader, Stephen Hurd’s 2009 Grammy and Stellar-nominated CD, “Time Of Refreshing.”

Well, without further delay hit play and get into the summer smash from Anthony Brown & Group TherAPy below…

Desire” singer Kierra Sheard is still riding off of the success of her well received 2011 album, “Free.” Last month saw the vocal phenom tape JC-TV’s ’15th Street Live,’ and the footage has finally surfaced.

Serving up a set of her best numbers, which include “Love Like Crazy and ‘”You Are,” the powerhouse vocalist delivered what I’d say to be one of her best performances, armed with her killer vocals and bright personality.
