Infiltrate Music’s Christian emcee, Skrip is gearing up for the release of his debut LP on the newly formed label!
Due on January 15, 2013 “The Und_rscore II” will be the first project lifted from Infiltrate Music, and it will be available for FREE download. Today sees the Chicago native release “It Is Written” where he addresses the issue and the distorted picture of Christ that famed rappers such as The Game, Meek Mill, Rick Ross, and Kanye West are painting to their listeners.
The song begins with an audio excerpt from a recent interview with rapper The Game discussing his views about how he can be a Christian and live in contrast to the very Christ of Christianity, in regards to his next album entitled “Jesus Piece“. Game states in his interview “I don’t want to feel like I can’t love God or appreciate Jesus … and have to put down my blunt.” In the same interview he also states that he want to be able to hit a strip club after church and not be ridiculed.
