        Erica Campbell and Angie Stone Surprise Graduates at Ron Clark Academy
          
Grammy Gospel Artist, Erica Campbell and Grammy Nominated, R&B & Soul Artist, Angie Stone, Surprises Graduates at Ron Clark Academy
What excitement the graduates had at their 2015 ceremony at the Ron Clark Academy.  Music greats from the gospel and the R&B era encouraged and empowered the class and over 1500 family members, everyone could not have been more surprised.
On Friday June 12th, Grammy Award Winner, Gospel solo artist and sister of the iconic group, Mary Mary, flew from LA, to take part of graduating ceremonies at Woodruff Arts Center in Atlanta Georgia. When Erica was introduced at the beginning of the evening, the audience all jumped out of their seats in shock and amazement!
Erica then congratulated the graduating class and told them how proud she was of them and then blessed the packed audience with her new incredible song, “I Luh God” and “Can’t Give Up Now” (a powerful Mary Mary song from the group’s debut album “Thankful”) and no one in the auditorium sat down during the performance. WOW!!
Later that evening, Grammy Nominated & R&B Artist, Angie Stone followed with her incredible song “Brotha” tribute, as a slide show of gifted young men from the school and graduating class were featured.
Both phenomenal artists were so excited to be a part of the graduating tradition at the Ron Clark Academy, as past celebrity guest have included, Oprah Winfrey, Yolanda Adams and late, Dr. Maya Angelou.
Erica stated on her Instagram, “I flew into Atlanta today just to sing at the Ron Clark Academy middle school graduation. Those kids are amazing! I wish that school was in LA; it’s so good! Congratulations, class of 2015.”
Ron Clark Academy has been community partners of the Saving Our Daughters organization for more than six years. The organization was thankful of both incredible artist to lend their time and talent to the 2015 graduating class.
