On the collaboration, Chanel revealed:
“PJ and I are childhood friends, and we grew up in the church together with both of our parents being pastors in New Orleans,” said Chanel. “Our careers eventually led us to amazing success (PJ with Maroon 5 and me with Trin-i-tee 5:7.) A few years ago, PJ wrote the most beautiful song for T57 called ‘Over and Over.’ When it was time for me to record a life-changing single for my first solo album, I could think of no one else but my dear friend from NOLA.“
