Ebony has tapped gospel duo and reality tv stars Mary Mary as the cover stars for their June 2013 issue which celebrates black music. Inside, the reality stars get candid about their personal life, including a decision to part ways and pursue solo careers. Tina Campbell, the more outspoken of the two, reveals that she and husband Teddy Campbell almost divorced because of the latter’s past infidelity.
“Once I became aware [of the affair], I initially wanted to kill my husband,” she admitted. “I was considering adjusting the will, the living trust and all that kind of stuff. I did physically try to stab him. Several times…I never got to the point of physical harm, not really, but my words…My words hurt.”
The issue hits stands May 7.
