It’s finally here!
The hotly anticipated self-titled LP from Anthony Brown & group therAPy hit shelves on yesterday. Get familiar with Brown and therAPy, I believe it’s safe to say that they are definitely here to stay. Monday, August 20th saw Brown perform to a packed house that was filled with fans, supporters and fellow gospel artists, including Donald Lawrence, Kim Burrell, Sheri Jones Moffett, Byron Cage, Richard Smallwood, Stephen Hurd, Maurette Brown Clark and VaShawn Mitchell.
Anthony Brown and group therAPy have something very special to offer to the Gospel music genre, the way he presented his music and ministry on August 20th was nothing short of amazing, and it was done in excellence, I was in awe the entire night. The new project is preceded by the smash-hit single “Testimony,” which is in the top 20 on Billboard’s gospel singles chart. It would behoove you to click here and check out their debut album; It’s full of gems, stellar vocals, and tight production. And I must say Brown & therAPy are definitely a refreshing change of pace, I can appreciate anyone who carves their own lane and doesn’t follow the current trends attached to our genre.
