Michelle Williams Signs New Record Deal with Light Records

R&B belle and Destiny’s Child alum, Michelle Williams is returning to her Gospel roots!

It was announced this week that the singer and Broadway star landed a deal with Light Records. Michelle’s debut offering via Light Records/eOne  is slated to be released January 2013. Indeed, a follow-up to her previous Gospel efforts; 2002’s award-winning “Heart To Yours” and the critically praised “Do You Know” in 2004.

The “Heard A Word” singer is set to release the lead single from the forthcoming project this fall, and you can expect production from a variety of producers including Tommy Sims and James Fortune. Be sure to stay tuned for more info regarding Michelle Williams and her forthcoming Gospel LP.
