TWINKIE CLARK PREPS FOR LIVE RECORDING!

Twinkie Clark, one of the founding members of the legendary Clark Sisters‘ is gearing up for a live recording. Twinkie Clark “Live & Unplugged” is set to take place Saturday, July 21, 2012 in Detroit, Michigan at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.

Tickets for “Live & Unplugged” go on sale May 1st. General admission is $25 and $50 for VIP/Backstage pass. The doors will open at 6:30 PM and the recording is set to kick off at 7:15 PM.

At the helm of production is nephew and label mate, Larry Clark. I must say this news of a live recording caught me by surprise, being that Twinkie Clark just released a project back in Spring 2011. However, I am a die-hard “Clark fan” so I’m excited to hear/see what “The Queen of The Hammond B3 organ” and Larry Clark will be serving up this time around.
