MARVIN SAPP’S ‘I WIN’ RECLAIMS NO. 1; TRIP LEE ‘THE GOOD LIFE’ NO. 2

Gospel music’s leading man, Marvin Sapp released his highly anticipated album “I Win” earlier this month and it debuted at No. 1 selling a handsome 44,177 units within the first week. This week “I Win” has reclaimed the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album chart moving 9,895 units last week. Congratulations to Pastor Marvin Sapp on another successful week.

Coming in at No. 2 is Christian Hip Hop heavyweight Trip Lee with his latest release “The Good Life.” Last week “The Good Life” made one of the biggest debuts in Christian Hip Hop since Lecrae’s “Rehab.” This week the project moved 6,015 units! Congrats to Trip Lee on a successful week in sales. Coming in at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Album chart is the popular Gospel compilation series, WOW Gospel 2012. Landing at No. 4 is Fred Hammond with “God, Love, & Romance.” And coming in at No. 5  is J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise with their new release ”After This.”
