Keyla Richardson to Star Alongside Vivica A. Fox in BET+ Film ‘Due Season’
Sunday Best alum and Uncle G Records recording artist Keyla Richardson is set to make her acting debut in the upcoming BET+ film ‘Due Season,’ which will premiere on April 14th.
Written and directed by Cecil Chambers, the film also stars Vivica A. Fox, Barry Shabaka Henley, Dorien Wilson, Rolonda Watts, BeBe Winans and Justiin A. Davis.
The film follows Keyla’s character Vicky Waters, who’s been accepted into the conservatory of her dreams but now must win a competition to stay. To do so, she’ll need a secret weapon that she finds through an unexpected source: gospel music. Fox plays “Vicky Waters’” mom “Gwen Waters.”
Producers include Cecil Chambers, DJ Dodd, Saleem Elmasri, Devin Griffin, Clyde Jordan, Charley McDougall, Jamie McLeod-Ross, Marvin Neil, Chad Oliver, and Zack Weiner.
